Beacuse Dubai is one of the city that have the best infrastructure in the world, and that it is one of the emirates that form the UAE (United Arab Emirates). Perhaps the most famous of the seven regions, and just because of two words; eccentricity and luxury. In less than thirty years, Dubai changed from being a little fishing village to the famous awesome city that is today.

  • The City Hall's carillon was installed as a World War I war memorial, with 22 additional bells being added in 1925 with the visit of the Prince of Wales

    Castle

  • Built by the Dutch East India Company between 1666 and 1679, the Castle is the oldest existing colonial building in South Africa.
  • The first stone was laid on 2 January 1666.
  • It was also rung to summon residents and soldiers when important announcements needed to be made.

  • This was composed of the House of Assembly (the lower house) and the Legislative Council (the upper house).
    • It dated back to the beginnings of Cape independence in 1853, and was elected according to the multi-racial. re-enfranchised the Coloured population (women as well as men), and enfranchised the Indian population.
